It’s time for new leadership in Merced County.

I grew up in District 3 and my wife and I are raising our family here.

I am tired of business as usual. I want to see our county make progress. For too long, there has been too much talk and not enough action to improve the quality of life for everyone who lives here.

I am not a career politician. I have spent my career as a public safety officer, working to keep our county safe.

Merced County residents deserve to have representatives who are accountable and accessible.

I want to earn your vote.

Meet Luis.

I have lived in District 3 in Atwater my entire life. For the last 28 years, I have served as a public safety officer with CA Highway Patrol. I am currently a Sergeant, overseeing personnel in Merced County.

Serving my community has always been one of my core values. I currently serve on the Merced County Fair Board and have previously served on the McSwain School Board and volunteered as a Merced County firefighter. 

My wife, Vanessa, and I are proud to be raising our two sons here. It is time that we improve Merced County for future generations.
